Wow the ones today are even faster and cheaper!
apple is not trying to overtake microsoft
neither is it trying to get all the marketshare
when steve jobs got asked…. he responded that their goal is to build the best computer they can.. and a computer they would recommend to their family and friends..
mr. Jobs said that they can’t make a computer for under $500 that is not a piece of junk…
For the price, I’d say its a bargain not having to worry about my system being overloaded with spyware, adware and the like. I don’t have to scan my system every week for viruses. I don’t have to wait for anything. Its all right there when I open the lid of my MBP. The money is worth not having to wait for my computer to start up, scan and run slow because of cookies and spam. And its not that much. I mean whats $2400? Its 2 weeks salary. Big deal.
i agree
They are not that expensive. Get a better job…
this isnt wwdc this is at there cupertino campus so the audience is very small
The audience sucked!
Nah, I’m straight. But I’d love one though.. if someone will give me the money or give it to me for free. Honestly I’m good with HPs & Lenovos that runs Windows. Because realistically speaking, no matter how hard Apple tries to invent new things to be little anything Microsoft, Microsoft will and always will be ubiquitous. Especially Windows. But it would be cool if they get into the video game market like the Xbox for Microsoft…
not everyone enjoys lusting out a few grand for a laptop
Find out how to get one
what i don’t get about apple is the they try to make there products as simple as they can but why can’t they do the same about there prices..?
No they are too expensive, even though they are good machines.
I’ll take the enclosure, the thinner case, the lighter weight, the faster bus speed, the DDR3 RAM, and most importantly the graphics over the paltry, negligible .4ghz clock decrease.
Well I would if it had Firewire
.
If its worth it then its not way too expensive
most of their products are way to expensive but it is worth it
I saw it at the store and it’s not much big diff from the old macbook. i had the old macbook and i sold it and got a smaller netbook Acer Aspire One. Apple should start making mini laptop because it is all the craze these days. I think Mac quality is there but they are just over priced esp. their accessaries.
Once you’ve factored in all that you’ll find the Mac cheaper. It doesn’t matter if you use it all or not, the fact is that if you want to do a price comparison then you do it fair, and don’t cherry pick stuff to suit YOUR needs.
If you want to do a fair price comparison then we do it fairly, and by that I mean going over every last single detail, including software.
A Windows equivalent of the iLife suite can easily run up to several hundred dollars, standard on every Mac. How about isight, backlit keyboards, optical audio. How about Wireless N, and Bluetooth.
I don’t honestly care if the price is high, neither do Apples market. You need to stop doing these comparisons, we’ve heard it all, we get it, and guess what, we still don’t care.
Apple don’t cater for the low end market. The market Apple caters for will always be able to afford their products, shit economy or not.
And if you find them to high theres always the $999 Macbook, or a refurbished Macbook.
And if they didn’t eat shit I would almost certainly buy one.
Yeah Apple aren’t actually in the middle East. What they did was get another company to do it all, which is why your unfortunately experience poor customer service.
Yes it was to test the audio preview, its so funny. Isn’t it!!!!!
The voice is so funny.. JAJAJAJAJAJA
did you not hear him earlier he said they clean them and recycle all the scraps.
melt together the waste, make new alu plate = profit?
