Apple/mac rant!

Haha sorry about this guys, but I was annoyed and had to get it off my chest!!!! Like I said in the video I am a huge apple geek and love their products and service but today I felt totally let down 
I think maybe I was a little harsh on the guy serving me, he wasn’t rude, but I hate it when people talk to girls like they know nothing about technology – so he felt my wrath! Makeup/beauty videos will commence as normal now I can actually use my mac (even if the battery won’t charge!)

I can’t blame you for making this, I would be really upset if my mac battery died after a year and a half. They do tell you in the store they last for a few years.
And as for ‘chrisdicki’ comment, he can’t have hated it that much cos he watched the whole video! And I’m pretty sure he’d be having a moan if his battery had died!

batteries are something that will simply wear out, irrespective of who makes them or how much you paid for the laptop they came installed in…. which will explain why the AppleCare Protection Plan doesn’t cover them for ‘end of life’.
the apple store employee was wrong in saying that their batteries are only good for 300 charges…. i used to work for apple and a battery was regarded as defective if it held less than 80% of it’s original charge before the 300 cycle mark was reached. I don’t know your case in particular i.e weather or not your faulty charger is to blame for the battery ‘dying’, but you need to acknowledge that in the small print for the AppleCare Protection Plan batteries are not covered when they come to…

I think the employee was an arsehole and should have replaced the batter no matter what the battery cycle was – I had my 2007 Macbook Pro battery replaced at the end of 2009 with out fuss…you just had a bad Apple Genius – Apple on the other hand are teh awesome

@chrisdicki Haha, good day to you. So glad this pinged up whilst I was online. I know it was annoying, I said so, so not sure what point you’re trying to make other than the fact that I was right. Anyways, after this video (and more annoying trips) apple finally listened to me when they realised to have this many battery cycles was impossible. They gave me a brand new battery and a brand new charger. And apologised. x

This is a load of bollocks, you had a 10 minute hissy fit about the apple guy and this is where the problem is. You are going to get some hardware that will have failures from time to time no matter what the company. Look back to the end of last year and the issue with the 27inch imacs all sorted now. Your apple rant just then turned into typical woman babble about phone and purse and shit driving. You hit the nail on the head when you said it would be annoying!
